Cityfi serves as a member of the CCAMbassador (Connected, Cooperative and Automated MoBility Assessment & Stakeholder Dedicated and Operational awareness Raising) consortium, a Horizon Europe-funded initiative designed to build public awareness and trust in Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) to a broader set of stakeholders outside of the Research & Innovation community.
The project aims to bridge the gap between technical innovation and public acceptance by equipping local authorities, transport operators, implementers, and the public the tools they need to support and understand responsible deployment across Europe. Cityfi is advising on a range of topics that ensure stakeholder awareness is inclusive and based on leading engagement practices. Alongside PAVE Europe, Cityfi is also tasked to develop a comprehensive Citizen Awareness Toolkit, a standardized resource for regional authorities to elevate public understanding of automated driving. This toolkit identifies and organizes the specific messaging, engagement methods, and communication tools required to foster transparent dialogue between technology providers and the communities they serve. By creating this structured framework, Cityfi helps ensure that the transition to automated mobility is inclusive, evidence-based, and grounded in a clear vision for the public good.
